- 1 cup stone ground white grits
- 4 cups stock or water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup half and half
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese
- 1 tbsp parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 300
- Combine the grits, stock/water, salt, pepper and butter in a saucepan, bring to a boil then cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
- Add the half and half, Velveeta, and parmesan cheese. Stir over medium heat until velveeta is melted and well mixed. Bring to simmer.
- Spray a 8-10” casserole dish with Pam then pour the grits into the casserole dish and bake at 300 for an hour.
